1. System Inspection

When we arrive, our team will inspect your furnace and duct system.

We use a high-resolution inspection camera to confirm that cleaning is required and to check for any obstructions, damage, or airflow concerns before we begin.

This ensures your system can be cleaned safely and effectively.

2. Preparing Your Home

We respect your home like it’s our own.

3. Vent Cleaning & Sanitizing

Every vent in your home is cleaned — including:

✔ Supply vents
✔ Return vents
✔ Fresh air / HRV vents

Each vent is:

• Vacuumed using HEPA-filtered equipment

• Scrubbed to remove buildup

• Sanitized using a professional plant-based disinfectant

• Cleaned inside and out, including vent covers

Once cleaned, a heavy-duty grill mask is installed to seal the vent during system cleaning.

4. Creating Negative Air Pressure

After all vents are cleaned and sealed, we activate our high-powered negative air machine and generator.

This creates strong suction throughout your entire duct system, allowing debris to be safely removed without spreading into your home.

5. Deep Duct Cleaning

Using compressed air at up to 190 PSI, we clean every branch of your system starting from the furthest point and working toward the furnace.

Our specialized air tools (often called “whips”) reach deep into the ductwork to loosen and remove dust, debris, and buildup.

This process is repeated for:

6. Camera Verification

Once cleaning is complete, we re-inspect the system using our camera to confirm the ducts are fully cleared.

We verify results and provide visual proof of our work.

7. System Sanitizing & Deodorizing

Your entire duct system is treated with Benefect — a trusted plant-based disinfectant that:

This treatment safely freshens your system after cleaning.

8. Final Finishing

We remove all grill masks and properly dispose of them.

A Fresh Start service sticker is placed on your furnace to record your cleaning date and remind you of future maintenance.
